Staff Writer In 2011, Samsung came out with a phone so big, it could be considered a joke, or even a silly mistake. With the Note measuring 5.3 inches vertically, many people were quick to judge. One writer called the note “the most useless phone I’ve ever had,” then stating “you’ll look stupid talking on it.” This seemed like a pretty valid argument to the author, but even I was proven wrong. Samsung made millions of money off of this huge phone. Then, even more revenue off the 2nd and 3rd generations. Even so, the 2nd and 3rd generations were the best selling phone in the last couple years. Samsung made the first huge smartphones, but now almost every popular maker has phones equivalent to the size of the note. Even well-known company Apple has caught on. But now, there's an even better note, The Samsung Note 5. At the moment, the only real competition is the apple iphone 6S. The note’s best features are: its ability to charge in a short amount of time, its superior clarity, and extremely good picture quality. |
