Staff Writer The Visit, a 2015 horror film directed by M. Night Shyamalan, is a thrilling movie that many will enjoy. Shyamalan delivered an amazing horror movie on September 11, 2015, leaving the viewers on the edge of their seat. The movie was filmed at a small town in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two kids visit their grandparents and discover that there is something seriously wrong with their nana and pop pop. Becca and Tyler were awaiting the meeting of their grandparents, whom they had never met. But as soon as they arrived, Nana and Pop Pop were acting a little strange. Olivia De Jonge, Ed Oxenbould, Deanna Daragan, and Peter McRobbie were all some of the amazing actors in the thrilling horror movie. The actors all did a great job portraying their roles in an accurate, realistic way. Megan McCormack said, “I’ll give The Visit four out of five stars because it was an interesting movie and it kept you on the edge of your seat.” Audrey Eucker said, “I’ll give it three and a half out of five stars.” She said that it was a little predictable, but overall a pretty good movie. The movie was shot from a unique perspective because the movie acted as a documentary made by the kids while visiting their grandparents. The unique perspective was a key role in how the movie was viewed, and many viewers were impressed by the complexity of the filming and the plot of the story. Overall, The Visit is a super exciting and unique movie that many people would enjoy watching. Many of the viewers would definitely recommend it to a range of ages. The Visit is a very creative, fun, interesting movie that lots of people would encourage others to see. Shyamalan definitely directed a great horror movie that will be seen for many years ahead.
