Staff Writer Pretty little liars is a TV show started in 2010 that is based in Rosewood, Pennsylvania and is about four very interesting girls. Pretty Little Liars has been a popular show since its very first episode, aired on June 8th, 2010. The show obviously has been very popular since it has had 6 seasons. On November 24, 2015 there will be a sneak peek episode, and millions of fans will be watching and when season 6b starts on January 12th, 2016. By all accounts, it will be very popular, just like the other 5 seasons. The show focuses on four high school girls whose best friend and leader of the group, Alison Dilaurentis, goes missing. A year later she is pronounced dead. The four girls become close again after drifting apart, they start talking again when they start getting texts from a person called A that knows all of their secrets that they only told Alison. The girls, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, and Emily Fields, are convinced that Alison is still alive and is the one sending them the texts signed A. They are all convinced until the cops find “Alison’s” body in her backyard. Later they find out that it was actually a girl named Bethany Young in Alison’s grave. The girls later find out Alison is alive and has been threatened by A also. They all try to figure out who A is together and later in the show Spencer figures out it was Mona Vanderwaal. She hated Alison and the girls because Alison made Mona “loser Mona” and the other girls didn’t stop her and let Alison tease her. Josie Rogers, an 8th grader, says “Pretty little liars seems like an interesting show that many people watch and girls can sometimes relate to it.” A has done horrible things to all of the girls including having run Hanna over with a car, ruined multiple of the girls relationships, framed them for multiple things including murder, killed people close to them, and much more. All of the girls had weaknesses that A knew of, like Aria having an affair with her teacher, Hanna binge eating when she is nervous, Spencer always having to be the best of the best, and Emily thinking everyone is innocent. Zoe Johnson, an 8th grader, says “ I don’t watch the show but I know that many people are very excited with all of the twists and turns.” The show is very appealing for the teenage girl audience and has very exciting plots. The show talks about different situations that some junior high girls face, including bullying. Comments are closed.
