Staff Writer A new thrilling movie based on the best selling horror children's books and T.V. episodes by R.L Stine starring Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush, and Ryan Lee tells a story of a boy (Zach) who goes into a house to “save” Hannah. Instead he finds a shelf of old goosebump manuscripts and he accidently lets monsters out of the books. The monsters start taking over the town of Madison, Delaware. Zach, Hannah, Champ, and R.L stine have to save their town from the monsters that R.L Stine created. The director Rob Letterman, and the producers Neal H. Maritz and Deborah Forte, worked together with R.L Stine to bring this film and the monsters “ to life”. The movie came to theaters all around the world on October 16, 2015-right around Halloween. “I am so excited to see this movie next week, the trailer was very action packed and fun, It really caught my attention,” said Sydney Pyne, a student at Lakeridge Junior High. “The movie was so fun and exciting! It was creepy and really related back to the books. I think I will watch it again!” explained Luzahn Chandler. The producers made the movie fun for all ages. They even added a twist at the end of the movie. The real R.L Stine was in the movie as the new drama teacher, and Jack Black (the actor who played him) was R.L Stine. The movie consisted of many monsters and stories from the books. In the movie they encounter several monsters that R.L Stine made up as a child and for his stories. “‘Goosebumps’ is a fun, clever take on books” said Katie Walsh from the Tribune News service. But why did they make this movie? They made it to entertain kids, for this movie was meant to be both funny and action packed. It will have viewers hanging on the edge of their seat. Watch as they fight off Slappy and the other monsters to save everyone. R.L stine along with Zach, Hannah, and Champ will have to write a new story about each monster to save their town. Will they win? There's only one way to find out. Go watch the Goosebumps movie today! Comments are closed.
